I participate in our school Model United Nations (MUN) team. In MUN, each student is tasked with representing a country in a UN committee that that is tasked with drafting a resolution to solve pending world problems.

​I have been to seven conferences and represented countries such as Bolivia and Kuwait, and many individuals such as the Prime Minister of Latvia and a delegate to the Congress of Vienna. I have dealt with issues ranging from authoritarian states to human trafficking. I am also on the executive board for this club, meaning I help teach the new members.

MUN has taught me how to efficiently and effectively deal with sensitive problems, public speaking skills, and how to compromise and work with people who have different views than oneself.
